Cristal Martinez Valdez is a speech-language pathologist. She grew up in Chimayo and graduated from Española Valley High School. Cristal went on to earn a Masters of Science in Speech and Hearing Sciences the University of New Mexico.

She spend 13 years working with the Española Public Schools treating students with all types of language and communication issues and served as a member of the Autism Technical Assistance Team.

Cristal has been with the clinic since 2017.
